Team Olliers have decided not only to complete the Manchester Legal Walk on 29th September 2016 but also to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on 17th September 2016, both events in support of the North West Legal Support Trust.

Olliers Solicitors – Yorkshire 3 Peaks

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is take place on Saturday 17^th September 2015 starting at 7 am meaning a very early start for Team Olliers. For those unfamiliar, the idea is to climb the three highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales being Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The walk is approximately 23 miles in length with an elevation gain of over 1000m. Starting at Horton in Ribblesdale, the walk will take us on a superb circular of the hills. We aim to complete the trip in under 12 hours before enjoying a well deserved glass of wine!

Our 3 Peaks team comprises of David Philpott, Laura Baumanis, Sami Halpern, Alex Close-Claughton, Ruth Peters, Max Saffman, Matthew Claughton, Maria Douglas, Stacey Mabrouk, Zita Spencer, Helen Buxton, and Tim McArdle.

Olliers Solicitors – Manchester Legal Walk

Once our aching legs have recovered we will then be completing the Manchester Legal Walk. The Manchester Legal Walk is a 10km sponsored walk around Manchester City Centre on Thursday 29th September 2016 to raise money for local legal advice services through the North West Legal Support Trust. There is no requirement to be a legal professional to take part. Why not come and join us?

North West Legal Support Trust

Fundraising for both events will go to the North West Legal Support Trust.

The North West Legal Support Trust (NWLST) is a grant-making charity, which raises and distributes funds to support free legal advice services and access to justice in the North West of England.

The charities supported by the NWLST help to facilitate and support access to justice for the poorest, most vulnerable and most disadvantaged members of society. They provide free legal help to people facing problems such as homelessness, debt, employment, family issues, mental health problems, discrimination and injustice.
