We are delighted to announce that Matthew Claughton, Managing Director, won Lawyer of the Year at the 2015 Modern Law Awards held last Thursday the 22nd November at the Hurlingham Club, London.
Eclipse Proclaim Modern Law Awards
Now in their third year, the Eclipse Proclaim Modern Law Awards were launched to celebrate and identify sparkling talent and success in entrepreneurship, market development, business management and best practice in the modern legal services arena. The award ceremony itself was a fabulous occasion hosted by the award wining comedian Jimmy Carr and all who attended had a wonderfully entertaining evening.
Matthew Claughton – Award Winning Criminal Defence Lawyer
The award comes as we near the conclusion of an extremely successful year for Matthew. He was voted Partner of the Year at the 2015 Manchester Legal Awards in March and then shortlisted for the Solicitor of the Year award at the nationwide Law Society Excellence Awards in London. He was ranked as Leading Individual in the 2015 edition of the Legal 500 Guide for both Crime and Fraud, the only North West solicitor to be ranked for both areas.
Matthew Claughton commented as follows:
“I am delighted to have won this award and it reflects the quality of work undertaken, not only by myself but everyone at Olliers.”
