Catherine Baird

Catherine joined Olliers in April 2026 from a leading Manchester criminal defence law firm, where she was a key member of their Youth and Magistrates’ Court department. She brings eight years of experience in criminal defence, having qualified as a solicitor in 2023. She undertook a law degree at the University of Central Lancashire before completing her Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University. 

In line with Olliers’ reputation as a leader in pre-charge representation, Catherine will undergo the firm’s intensive internal pre-charge accreditation.

She is looking forward to applying her experience to help potential clients navigate their most challenging moments, while ensuring they benefit from the results-driven legal brilliance that Olliers is known for.
