Written 8th July 2024 by Olliers Solicitors

We are delighted to announce the launch of Olliers’ new Virtual Internship Program, designed to offer law students an unparalleled opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of criminal defence.

This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world legal practice, all from the convenience of your own home.

Why a Virtual Internship?

The legal profession is evolving, and so are the ways we can gain practical experience.

At Olliers, we hold an annual summer internship programme over the summer months offering weeklong paid internships at our Manchester office. However, we are simply not able to offer the number of weeks placements we would like to in order to ensure that the week is filled with

This year we had a record number of applications and so we want to be to offer some form of alternative experience to those unsuccessful applicants.
