Tom Cawley of Olliers has successfully defended three clients in relation to a £1million money laundering and fraud investigation by Cheshire Police.
All clients were subject to police bail for several months following their arrest. However, following successful representations to the Crown Prosecution Service by Olliers no charges were brought in relation to our clients and all proceedings were discontinued. Furthermore, the restraint orders in relation to our clients were discharged and cash forfeiture proceedings conceded by Cheshire Police.
Tom Cawley has extensive knowledge and experience of dealing with confiscation cases and in addition to this, he has substantial experience of representing clients accused in the Crown Court with a focus on fraud and money laundering offences.
