Olliers Solicitors is a Manchester-based criminal defence firm known for its work at the pre-charge investigation stage, which frequently results in the police deciding not to charge its clients.
In the past 12 months, Olliers has defended clients in six murder and manslaughter cases as well as several multimillion pound fraud prosecutions. Notably, it secured a not guilty verdict in a complex pension fraud after 20 days of jury deliberation on the 154th day of the trial. Olliers has also secured numerous acquittals in serious sexual offence cases and acted in a series of complex, multi-defendant drug prosecutions.
In February, the firm moved to new premises in Manchester, doubling its office space to support continued growth. Olliers has also relaunched its specialist motoring law department, reflecting increased demand for expert representation in road traffic and regulatory offences.
