Oliver Lewis joined Olliers Solicitors as a consultant in 2015. He qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and has worked at a number of criminal practices in London most recently he has been a partner at Powell Spencer and Partners. He is a highly experienced litigator, and Higher Court Advocate.  He has acted in numerous serious and complex cases including allegations of murder, rape and other sexual offences and fraud.  He is used to supervising teams of lawyers on large scale complex matters.  He has an excellent track record as a crown court advocate.  Oliver is often involved in representing clients pre-charge and during lengthy and difficult investigations when tactical considerations can be crucial.

In addition to working as a consultant litigator and crown court advocate, Oliver also lectures in law at the University of East London and is a writer on legal issues contributing to the London Criminal Courts Solicitors Association magazine and the Justice Gap on a regular basis. Oliver is particularly experienced in devising and delivering in-house training and training materials for lawyers and trainee solicitors. He is also a member of the Management Committee of the Camden Law Centre.  In May 2014 Oliver was elected as a councillor for the Highgate ward Camden.
