Partner Richard Holliday and his team continue to be instructed in some of the country's major HMRC Investigations with current involvement in Operation Euripus (claimed to be the largest HMRC prosecution ever), Gelling and Vaulter (prosecution ongoing).

Our involvement in MTIC/Carousel frauds in recent years also includes Operation Shepherd, Ginseng, Emersed, Dossal, Divert and Foxtrot.   Nationally few firms, if any, have been involved in so many cases.  In December 2008 we were successful in securing the quashing of convictions in Operation Emersed.

We are particularly experienced in advising clients whose assets have been restrained particularly in more complex cases involving Management Receivers, often appointed in large scale HMRC investigations.  

We acted in the Court of Appeal Case which led to the Capewell Guidelines.
